Built at the intersection
of IP, science, AI and engineering.
Global Patents brings together the disciplines required to turn complex intellectual-property evidence into a scalable intelligence platform.

Dr. Jan Krauß
Dr. Jan Krauß brings the intellectual-property and patent-law perspective to Global Patents. His role is to ensure that the platform reflects the realities of professional patent practice: prior-art evaluation, claim and family analysis, jurisdictional context, and the points at which expert legal judgment must remain central.
Within Global Patents, he contributes to workflow design, domain validation and the translation of patent-professional requirements into structured, evidence-first product capabilities.

Prof. Dr. Sigrid Saaler-Reinhardt
Prof. Dr. Sigrid Saaler-Reinhardt brings scientific and life-science expertise to Global Patents. Her contribution helps ground the platform in the realities of scientific discovery, biotechnology and the specialized technical language that shapes patent landscapes in life sciences.
She supports domain validation and helps ensure that product development reflects the complexity and decision context of scientific and life-science innovation.

Bernd Burgdorf
Bernd Burgdorf leads product vision, AI and innovation strategy, positioning, partnerships and strategic go-to-market for Global Patents. His work focuses on translating emerging AI capabilities into scalable products, business models and decision infrastructure.
He brings more than two decades of international experience across creative technology, AI, innovation and transformation, and more than a decade of international teaching at the intersection of technology and creativity.
